I think everyone, even those who have a 9-5 corporate job, should be extracting, packaging and offering their expertise to the world. Why?

It’s a great way to add value to others by sharing your wisdom, it’s fulfilling because that wisdom and those lessons of experience can now benefit others, and it’s satisfying because people will pay for well- packaged information. MOST importantly, however, it positions YOU as an expert in your field and will set the stage for whatever you choose to do next.  If you’re not sure what you’re an expert IN, consider these three questions.

What are you GREAT at? What feeds your soul? What do you feel is your greatest gift to offer others? Next, list the 5-10 greatest lessons you could teach in your area of expertise. How could you best deliver this information? What combination of media would work for you? Writing, audio, video, live calls, webinars, slideshows? How long would it take you to extract your expertise in your key area for just 1 of the greatest lessons you could teach others?

I’ll use myself as an example to illustrate how this works:

What are you GREAT at? I am great at business acceleration—helping people gain clarity on exactly how to unleash their business’s potential, and then showing them how to generate tangible results FAST.

What feeds your soul? Helping entrepreneurs become millionaires. I LOVE IT. 150 down, hundreds more to go!

What do you feel is your greatest gift to offer others? I am an Executive Coach, a Messenger and a Conductor. The message I have is that you are MUCH more amazing than you realize, and I am here to remind you of that. I do this in the scope of the business world. Now, I am also a Conductor. This means I convey energy to others which helps them see their business in new more expansive ways. If I wasn’t sharing my message and my energy to elevate others, I would not be happy.

List the 5-10 greatest lessons you could teach in your area of expertise.

1. How to get tangible revenue and sales results within a SHORT window of time.
2. How to get tangible marketing results right now.
3. How to help your team members become peak performers NOW.
4. How to lay the foundation for a scalable business that will grow soundly.
5. How to grow a business rapidly with a structure and strategy.
