If you’re ready to REALLY move forward in your business, remember that your goals must include specifically what you want to achieve and when specifically you want to achieve them.

Give yourself a gift this weekend and create a “dream board” of pictures and quotes that speak to you – these can be pictures you draw or clip from magazines illustrating what you want to achieve/be/get. When seeking my dream home, I cut out a picture of a gorgeous view of vineyards, and yes, within a year I’d found a home with that exact view at a reasonable price. I’ve had photos of girlfriends hanging out to bring more girl-time to my life. The pictures you collect will help you affirm your intention and mobilize your energies toward achieving your goals. Even my highest C-level executive mentoring clients do this exercise to help them move forward.

I want to be clear here. I’m not talking about some magical process where the universe sprinkles fairy dust on you because you think pretty thoughts. I’m talking about the power you mobilize within yourself, consciously and subconsciously, when you make the effort to clarify your goals, and visualize them into being achieved while doing the required legwork. Keep track of how you’re progressing. It will work wonders in focusing yourself and keeping on track.
