January 18, 2010Relationship Don’ts! IF you want a REAL 7 Figure Business
January 20, 2010Wrapping up Networking for 7 Figure Business Building
Here’s the bottom line. If you’re going to create a 7 Figure Business, you need to understand that networking is about creating an extended family. It’s about developing connections, caring about people, increasing the size of your “tribe.” Most of all, networking is not the awkward social ritual many of us think it is—networking is actually fun, and in many cases as you’ve seen in the examples from my recent posts, it’s the key to rocking your business and life.
Now all these great networking practices will be worthless if you don’t know how relationships are messed up. And why spend all the time and energy developing deeply fulfilling connections only to mess them up? This week I’ll be covering: What NOT to Do When Interacting with Others!
Of the two ways that relationships are botched, by breaking trust or by disrespecting, it’s key to know what goes wrong behind the scenes. When someone feels disrespected or devalued it’s often because we have done something to trigger their ego. When you question someone’s significance, competence, or value, you trigger their ego. They get mad, insulted or deeply hurt, and you’re going to need to invest some time and energy to make things right again. Stay tuned this week for more on this topic.
