January 5, 20103 Success Steps to Systemizing Your Business
It’s 2010, and there’s an ABUNDANCE of “new” messages out there about “new” goals and new opportunities. But without some tried and true basics in place, nothing will be new. Below find my three TOP success steps to systemizing your business. These are the launching pad for a 7 Figure Business and 7 Figure Success. Be sure to get my free CD also and become part of my easily accessible $97 / month video mentoring. My CD comes with a free two-week trial as well. Most of us use Outlook or some other time management, contact database, and calendar software. The key here is do we use our time effectively? Systems and SOPs enable you to explain a process once, then ask the staff member to refer back to it. People will try to get you to explain it again. Don’t! Make them use the SOP! Your time management and your TIME must be allocated to its highest and best use—and that’s where the key areas of your business intersect with your greatest skills. All else you must strive to delegate.
Time Management:
Organize your office and administration: We’ve had fabulous success with professional organizers. Check out the National Association of Professional Organizers at www.napo.net. You can find one in your area to get your physical space together.
Systemize the creation and delivery of your service or product: Here’s where SOPs, outsourced manufacturing and fulfillment can come in super handy. At Mighty Ventures we use Flow Motion for our physical product manufacturing and fulfillment. Learn more about them at www.flowmotioninc.com. We have given them SOPs for packing, labeling, shipping our products. It took a while to iron out the SOPs and ensure they used them. Likewise, when we create a new product, like the Business Growth Blueprint product you’re learning from right now, we have a product specification, a timeline for creation of the product components, and a testing and launch plan. We’ll talk more about this is the Product Essentials module.
